In game music player
Not sure if this has been brought up before but an ingame music player would greatly contribute to this game and wouldnt be that hard to do. Awesome game regardless.

Being able to tune into your favourite shoutcast ingame would be wonderful, as well as an easier way to modify the volume settings for it. Though having a live shoutcastcast at the same time as playing the game might not help your ping, but if you're adding one thing you better add support for the other! =)

I think he meant a wav/mp3 audio player thats added to the interface. Some MMO's have this feature.

Step 1: Turn off game music
Step 2: Run the music in the background.
Sorry but I think this would be a waste of time and that'd be that much less game content updated in the time it takes to modify the game to accept outside music. Just run it in the background!

extra features in a game is never a waste of time!
There are just more pressing problems.......
but hey, i say its a good idea, they could even have a playlist feature!

I thought the reason that other MMO's had the built in players was because you couldn't minimize. I have to say, being able to seamlessly minimize or windowize really makes it easy to play Guildwars and do anything else at the same time. I know that (obviously) some people like integrated audio players....but frankly, when I'm given the option of using 3rd party software to play it, integrated just seems overly complicated. Things just seem to go wrong....In GTA Vice City, you had to copy shortcuts or the actual files into the GTA music folder, and you had no control over what was playing. In UT2K4 you could specify which folder to pick from, and save different playlists....but the size of playlist was pretty limited...it kept crashing when I tried to add all my music... I've also tried some players for half life mods and whatnot but nothing made me happy.
